Scott was received into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church in 2005. He was ordained as a permanent deacon in the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter on August 10, 2020, by the Most Rev. Steven Lopes.
Scott and his wife, Jacinda, have been married since 2004 and are blessed with two sons, Michael and Joseph. In addition to actively participating in the parish life at Our Lady of Walsingham, they enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors engaging in sporting activities, participating in Rodeo Houston, and practicing conservation through hunting and fishing programs.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies degree from the University of St. Thomas. Scott has a solo law practice in the area of intellectual property law, and Jacinda is a Realtor® specializing in the Memorial-Spring Branch area. Scott and Jacinda feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to serve at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham.
