Good Friday is historically the busiest abortion day of the year at Planned Parenthood. This is a modern day Calvary of sorts, where, just as our innocent Savior was sacrificed while many of those around Him remained indifferent, or despised, rejected, mocked and ridiculed Him, so also, 40-60 innocent children's lives are violently taken daily.
Fr. Hough IV led more than 150 souls in praying the Stations of the Cross for Life on Good Friday morning outside of Planned Parenthood. We witnessed a woman who had a scheduled abortion at Planned Parenthood, decide to enter Houston Coalition for Life's Mobile Crisis Pregnancy Unit, (Big Blue Bus). Inside she was shown the ultrasound of her baby moving, and decided to choose life for her child. Let us all continue to pray that this mother's choice to protect the life of her child continues. Many other women entered the bus that day for services and all were helped to understand the gift and beauty of the life God has entrusted to them. Thanks to all our parishioners who came out in prayerful support.
Our Lady of Walsingham Family Life Ministries invites every parishioner to consider coming out to pray quietly for an hour or more, any of the 6 days each week, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., when Planned Parenthood is performing 40-60 abortions. Join us at our parish prayer day(s), the second Saturday of every month. Pray that abortion minded mothers will accept the free help offered them and their unborn children right there with Houston Coalition for Life. Pray for an end to abortion and a return to a Culture of Life.
